I'm not always able to brush my teeth or rinse with mouthwash when I'm away from home. So, I often carry gum and mints with me to help freshen my breath during the day. I keep them in my purse, in the car and in my drawer at work.
A week ago or so, I got the chance to try Listerine PocketPaks Breath Strips. I've actually used them before, years ago. But, it's probably been at least five years since the last time I tried them.
Listerine PocketPaks Breath Strips dissolve in your mouth and freshen your breath. They kill 99% of bad breath germs. They're sugar free and come in four flavors:
- Cool Mint
- Arctic Berry
- Fresh Burst
- Cool Heat
The breath strips come in a little carrying case. Each case contains 24 breath strips.
The strips are very thin. To use, you take a strip and place it on your tongue and let it dissolve.
The mint flavor is really strong. It definitely freshens my breath, but for me, the flavor was a little too strong. It took over a minute for the strip to fully dissolve and as it dissolves, it gets kind of sticky. It's not unpleasant, but just different.
I don't think I prefer these over using mints or gum to freshen my breath. Yes, they're very convenient to carry around, since they're so small. But, I didn't really like the Cool Mint flavor. Maybe I'll change my mind, if I try one of the other flavors.
Listerine PocketPaks can be purchased at retail stores, like CVS and Target, as well as online retailers.
