Movie night is a staple in our home. It's a great way to spend time together as a family, while enjoying yummy treats and a great movie. This past weekend, we had a chance to watch Hotel Transylvania 3.

Since I worked all week, I didn't have the time to bake the Halloween treats I was planning on making. So, instead we picked up some brownies and cupcakes and popped some popcorn.

REVIEW

My younger kids enjoyed both of these DVDs. They've watched other episodes of Pocoyo and The Cat In The Hat on Netflix and on TV, but hadn't seen any of these before. The episodes aren't too long and found both DVDs to be pretty amusing.

Halloween is just around the corner! In addition to getting the house decorated for Halloween and picking out costumes, we like watching our favorite Halloween-themed shows and movies. Halloween is 5 days away. We've finally figured out what the kids are going to be. We've put up our Halloween decorations. Now, it's time to make some fun Halloween treats!

I've actually made these Spiderweb Brownies before, when I hosted a Hotel Transylvania Monster Valentine's Day party. This year, I thought it would be cute to add little chocolate spiders on the brownies.

I modified a recipe from the King Arthur Flour website. I opted to use a boxed brownie mix, but feel free to use either the King Arthur Flour brownie recipe or your own favorite brownie recipe.

It's a little more than a week before Halloween but I'm just getting started decorating.  I've had a Mickey wreath hanging on our front door ever since we threw a #DisneySide @Home Celebration party this past winter.


I thought it was time for a change, so I decided to turn it into a Halloween wreath.  It already had the black tulle.  I figured I could take the red tulle off and replace it with orange tulle and maybe add some spiders on it.
