DISCLOSURE: I received free products from Moms Meet to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

My kids love squeezable pouches. We buy them every single time we go shopping for groceries. We're also fans of Horizon Organic. We buy their milk, the single serve milk boxes, and the half and half. When I heard they now offer squeezable pouches, I knew we had to try them out!

I was sent samples of Horizon Organic Super Squeeze by Moms Meet to share with my friends and family. I decided to serve them during my son's 5th birthday party.

Horizon Organic Super Squeeze are a blend of organic milk and real fruit, packaged into convenient squeezable pouches. Each pouch contains 5 g of protein and are an excellent source of calcium. They are available in three flavors:
  • Mixed Berry Burst
  • Strawberry Burst
  • Orange Blast

De-stressing With Organic India Tulsi Tea #MomsMeet #OrganicIndia

Thursday, September 24, 2015

DISCLOSURE: I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of this product.

My sister has been under a lot of stress lately. Her husband is in between jobs and they're not sure if they're going to be staying in the area or moving to find a job elsewhere. She's been working, but with the rent being as high as it is in the DC area, they can't afford to stay on just one salary.

I invited her over today to come talk and de-stress. I bought some blueberry scones and croissants and we sat down and had some tea. I had received several varieties of Organic India Tulsi Tea  from Moms Meet to try and it sounded like just what we needed!

imPRESS Press-On Manicure REVIEW

Tuesday, September 22, 2015

DISCLOSURE: I received free samples from BrandBacker to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I never do my own nails. I'm horrible at shaping and painting my nails. It always looks so bad when I do it myself. If I had the time and money, I'd try and go to a salon to get my nails done. But with four kids and work, there really isn't time to do that. So, I usually just keep my nails short and don't really do anything to them at all.

But, that may soon change, thanks to imPRESS Press-On Manicure! This nail polish alternative can give you a salon-perfect manicure in just a few minutes! There's no need to worry about making a mess or you don't even have to wait for polish to dry!

imPRESS Press-On Manicure is available in over 40 colors and designs. They feature Ultra-Hold Adhesive Technology and last up to one week, yet can easily be peeled off for removal without the use of acetone. They are waterproof and will not damage nails.

My favorite products from MommyCon DC 2015

Sunday, September 20, 2015

DISCLOSURE: As a member of the MommyCon Blogger Program, I received free admission to MommyCon in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

This post is a little late, but I wanted to write about some of the fun products featured in the General Admission and Media Swag Bags, as well as some companies that I saw at the Exhibit Hall at MommyCon DC.

My husband, my two-year-old daughter and I attended MommyCon in DC last month. You can read a recap of the day's events here.  It was a fun day and we got to find out about some cool products.

As part of our admission, my husband and I each received a Gift Bag full of samples and information about some fun products for parents and babies.

Here is what was included in the General Admission Gift Bag:

Here is what was included in the Media Gift Bag:

They both came in a reusable bag with the words "Do Small Things With Great Love" on it. A lot of the products in the gift bags I passed on to my sister.  She just had a baby girl yesterday! Other products I'm passing on to my cousin and his wife. They're expecting a boy in November.

One of my favorite products in the Gift Bags was the No-Spill Cup from Re-Play. They're made from recycled milk jugs and come in six fun colors! They have a one-piece valve, so they're leak-free and easy to clean. They're perfect for my two-year-old to drink her water and soy milk (she's allergic to dairy) from!

Another great product in the Gift Bags was the LATCH bottle from Munchkin. It's supposed to provide easy transition from breast to bottle. This would have been great to have when my kids were little. Three out of four of them would not take a bottle. My one son ended up losing a lot of weight because I went back to work so quickly after having him, but he wouldn't take anything but the breast. Luckily, with my other two, I was able to schedule nursing breaks at work and my husband would drive the babies to me. The LATCH bottle has an anti-colic valve to prevent air bubbles and reduce gas and fussiness. The nipple also moves with baby to provide a continuous latch to help reduce symptoms of colic.

One of the most interesting products featured in the Gift Bags was the Kiinde Twist Feeding System. This would have been awesome to have when I was pumping at work. This feeding system lets you pump directly from ANY pump into breastmilk storage pouches. You can store, warm and feed the milk directly from the pouch, without having to transfer the milk to a bottle.

In the Exhibit Hall, there were a lot of great baby products. Some I've seen before and others were new to me. One product that I hadn't seen before was the line of odor removing products from Fresh Wave.

Their products are all natural and remove odors without using harsh chemicals or toxic ingredients. Fresh Wave is available as a spray, gel or odor-removing packs and are available exclusively at Target. The products smell awesome and I've already put the gel in our bathroom and I had my husband use one of the packs in his gym bag.

If you've never attended MommyCon and are pregnant or have young kids at home, I would definitely recommend checking out the natural parenting convention. They are currently sold out for the rest of their 2015 dates, but check Mommy-Con.com as they announce their 2016 dates.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - REVIEW

DISCLOSURE: I received a free sample from Crowdtap to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

As I've gotten older, I've started paying more attention to my skincare routine. The way I did things in my 20's doesn't work as well, now that I'm in my 30's. I've started using different toners, creams, serums and masks to try and reduce and/or prevent any signs of aging.

Recently, I had the chance to try out Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30. I've used Aveeno products for my body and hair, but haven't really tried any products for my face before.

Philosophy Ultimate Miracle Worker Review

Tuesday, September 15, 2015

DISCLOSURE: I received free samples from Smiley360 to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I am on the slippery slope to the big 4-0. I just celebrated my 37th birthday a couple weeks ago. In the past year, I've definitely noticed changes in my skin. It's not as bright as it used to be. I feel like my pores are a lot more visible and my skin just doesn't seem as full as it was just a few years ago!

I've started using all sorts of different cleansers and toners and creams and serums to try and slow down that aging process. This past week, I've had the chance to try a few products from Philosophy's Ultimate Miracle Worker line:
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Multi-Rejuvenating Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Multi-Rejuvenating Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Night Multi-Rejuvenating Nighttime Serum-In-Cream

Listerine UltraClean Mint Floss Review

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

DISCLOSURE: I received a free sample from Crowdtap to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

Ever since I had to get a crown on a tooth a few years ago, I've made a conscious effort to be better at flossing. Before it was only something I did when I could feel food in between my teeth or if I had a dentist appointment coming up. Now, I try and floss at least once a day.

I do have a favorite brand of floss that I use. I find that it does a good job at getting food out from in between my teeth and it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh. (If you want to know which one it is, leave me a comment!)

But, I recently had the chance to try a different brand. Reach Floss is now Listerine Floss! I was sent Listerine UltraClean Mint Floss to try.

Listerine UltraClean Mint Floss
  • uses shred-resistant technology to stretch, flex, and glide for an ultimate clean
  • has MICRO-GROOVES technology that removes 2x more plaque than Glide Mint Floss
