DISCLOSURE: As a member of the MommyCon Blogger Program, I received free admission to MommyCon in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

This post is a little late, but I wanted to write about some of the fun products featured in the General Admission and Media Swag Bags, as well as some companies that I saw at the Exhibit Hall at MommyCon DC.

My husband, my two-year-old daughter and I attended MommyCon in DC last month. You can read a recap of the day's events here.  It was a fun day and we got to find out about some cool products.

As part of our admission, my husband and I each received a Gift Bag full of samples and information about some fun products for parents and babies.

Here is what was included in the General Admission Gift Bag:

Here is what was included in the Media Gift Bag:

They both came in a reusable bag with the words "Do Small Things With Great Love" on it. A lot of the products in the gift bags I passed on to my sister.  She just had a baby girl yesterday! Other products I'm passing on to my cousin and his wife. They're expecting a boy in November.

One of my favorite products in the Gift Bags was the No-Spill Cup from Re-Play. They're made from recycled milk jugs and come in six fun colors! They have a one-piece valve, so they're leak-free and easy to clean. They're perfect for my two-year-old to drink her water and soy milk (she's allergic to dairy) from!

Another great product in the Gift Bags was the LATCH bottle from Munchkin. It's supposed to provide easy transition from breast to bottle. This would have been great to have when my kids were little. Three out of four of them would not take a bottle. My one son ended up losing a lot of weight because I went back to work so quickly after having him, but he wouldn't take anything but the breast. Luckily, with my other two, I was able to schedule nursing breaks at work and my husband would drive the babies to me. The LATCH bottle has an anti-colic valve to prevent air bubbles and reduce gas and fussiness. The nipple also moves with baby to provide a continuous latch to help reduce symptoms of colic.

One of the most interesting products featured in the Gift Bags was the Kiinde Twist Feeding System. This would have been awesome to have when I was pumping at work. This feeding system lets you pump directly from ANY pump into breastmilk storage pouches. You can store, warm and feed the milk directly from the pouch, without having to transfer the milk to a bottle.

In the Exhibit Hall, there were a lot of great baby products. Some I've seen before and others were new to me. One product that I hadn't seen before was the line of odor removing products from Fresh Wave.

Their products are all natural and remove odors without using harsh chemicals or toxic ingredients. Fresh Wave is available as a spray, gel or odor-removing packs and are available exclusively at Target. The products smell awesome and I've already put the gel in our bathroom and I had my husband use one of the packs in his gym bag.

If you've never attended MommyCon and are pregnant or have young kids at home, I would definitely recommend checking out the natural parenting convention. They are currently sold out for the rest of their 2015 dates, but check Mommy-Con.com as they announce their 2016 dates.
