imPRESS Press-On Manicure REVIEW

I never do my own nails. I'm horrible at shaping and painting my nails. It always looks so bad when I do it myself. If I had the time and money, I'd try and go to a salon to get my nails done. But with four kids and work, there really isn't time to do that. So, I usually just keep my nails short and don't really do anything to them at all.

But, that may soon change, thanks to imPRESS Press-On Manicure! This nail polish alternative can give you a salon-perfect manicure in just a few minutes! There's no need to worry about making a mess or you don't even have to wait for polish to dry!

imPRESS Press-On Manicure is available in over 40 colors and designs. They feature Ultra-Hold Adhesive Technology and last up to one week, yet can easily be peeled off for removal without the use of acetone. They are waterproof and will not damage nails.

Each kit includes 24 nails in 12 different sizes, a prep pad and a mini file. Some kits also include accent nails and stick-on designs. I received an imPRESS Accent Manicure kit in Bells & Whistles.

To help me figure out which nails fit my nails, I laid all the nails out in size order.

To make the nail look more natural, try and size down when selecting which nails you'll use. It might look like it will be too small, but when you apply the nails you'll be pushing them down flat onto your nail.

After you've selected the nails you'll use, wash and dry your hands and make sure you've removed any old polish. Use the included prep pad or a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to get the nail bed ready for the imPRESS nails.

Next, you remove the clear film from the back of the nail and then press it onto your nail.

I started with my left hand and started with the pinkie. After I did my pointer finger on my left hand, I moved on to my right hand, leaving my thumbs for last. I ended up removing some and choosing a smaller size and probably could have sized down my middle fingers, but here's the finished look:

It's a great color and I love the accent nails! The nails were a longer than what I'm used to wearing my nails, so I ended up cutting and filing the nails down.

From afar, the nails looked great. Only upon close inspection, could you tell they weren't actually my real nails. My Mom had come by and she didn't even realize they weren't real until I told her. I was even able to wash dishes with the nails on and not once did any of the nails fall off!

I ended up removing the nails after a couple days because I wanted a change. They're easy to remove. You just lift up on the side of the nail and slowly pull it off. I love how I can change them up as often I'd like.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure retail for $6.99. They can be purchased at Walgreens, CVS, Kmart, Rite-Aid and Walmart, as well as online retailers.
