We have so many plush animals in our house. The kids love them. I love them. For my youngest who is on the spectrum, they're like a comfort item and something that helps her to self-regulate. So, when I saw the opportunity to host a party with plushies and squishies, I jumped at the chance!

Last month we held a game night and had such a fun time that we decided it should be a regular thing. So, we were pretty excited when we were selected again to host another game night. Both games were new to us. My family enjoys word games so both looked like they would be perfect for us!

If your kids are like mine, then they've been attending school virtually and spending countless hours inside and on a screen. My younger kids are scared of the dark and like to sleep with a nightlight.  Right now, they use a somewhat broken one that my older kids used to have. The design part of it had broken off years ago, so basically it's just a nightlight bulb.

It's funny. I remember watching My Little Pony cartoons and playing with My Little Pony dolls when I was little. And now, my daughter does, too! Granted, I think the newer My Little Pony characters are cooler than the ones I watched growing up.

My kids don't really watch Sesame Street, but they love Elmo! We recently got the chance to try out the new Play All Day Elmo from Playskool!


Play All Day Elmo features eight games and activities and over 150 different responses. It grows with your child and has two modes of play: Toddler and Preschool. My youngest child is just over a year old.  She loves to play!  She runs and climbs and pretty much tries to do everything her older siblings do.  She's kind of fearless!

Do you remember Zhu Zhu Pets?  They were pretty popular a few years ago.  They were little robotic hamsters that rolled around and could maneuver around objects and walls.  You could buy habitats for them and build a little Zhu Zhu Pet world!  My kids used to love playing with them and owned a bunch of them!

Cepia, the makers of Zhu Zhu Pets, have recently introduced a new line of interactive toys -- The Happy's.  Similar to the Zhu Zhu Pets, the Happy's are a set of motorized plush puppies and kittens.  They can follow you around, chase a ball, dance, and perform tricks!

All my babies loved being in a swing.  Baby #4 is no exception.  So, I was excited to get a chance to try the Bright Starts Up, Up & Away Plug In Sway & Swing.  We never had anything like this for my other children and I thought this would be really great to have in the house.

The Up, Up & Away Plug In Sway & Swing is a full size swing that can swing back and forth or sway side to side.  The seat can face left, center or right.  It features six speeds and a 30, 45 and 60-minute timer.  It plays 20 minutes of 8 melodies and 3 nature sounds and also includes a mobile with two playtime toys.  The swing features a five point harness and non-slip feet for safety.  The swing can either run on 4 D batteries or can be powered by AC adapter.  It's recommended for babies weighing up to 25 lbs and can be used from birth.

I recently had the opportunity to try and review a new toy from Infantino: the Stack, Sort & Ball Drop Elephant from the Go Gaga! Collection.  It features four fun activities:

• Shape Sorter
• Ball Drop
• Push and Go Spinner
• Stacking Rings

Each activity is supposed to help encourage fine motor development, hand-eye coordination and rewards early problem solving efforts.  It's recommended for infants 6 months and up.

The Shape Sorter features three colored blocks in three different shapes.  It rewards your child with song, sounds and light when they put the blocks into the elephant.

There are three small balls included in three different colors.  Your child can drop them into the elephant or balance one on the elephant's trunk.  The balls are easy for small hands to hold.
