DISCLOSURE: I received a free sample in exchange for a product review. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate links.
At the end of the week, I'll be going to Disney World with my family. I've started packing and making sure I have everything I need. One of the important essentials is my toothbrush. Usually I just take whatever toothbrush I had been using at home and then just throw it away at the end of my trip. This time, I'll be bringing my Doctor Plotka's MouthWatchers travel toothbrush.
Sunflower Maze - Goldpetal Farms - Chaptico, MD
Monday, June 24, 2019
For the past couple weeks, I had been seeing posts on Facebook about a sunflower maze at a local farm. I had never been to a sunflower maze and the pictures looked really nice, so I thought it would be fun to take the family to it one weekend.
We visited the Sunflower Maze at Goldpetal Farm in Chaptico, MD. The farm has been hosting sunflower mazes since 2015, with a different theme each year. This year's maze theme is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's painting, Starry Night.

2019 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival Topiaries
Monday, April 29, 2019
Every Spring, EPCOT at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, hosts the International Flower & Garden Festival. In its 25th year, the festival features topiaries, gardens, outdoor kitchens, and daily concerts. This year it runs from March 6 - June 3, 2019. One of my favorite part sof the festival are all the cute topiaries.
The topiaries are scattered throughout the park. This year, the majority are returning designs, but there are a few new ones that debuted this year. I tried to photograph all of them, but it was a busy weekend and there were many people trying to take a picture of themselves in front of the topiaries.
This is a round up of most of the Flower and Garden topiaries and where to find them.
A New Look For Spring - The Bloom Salon - Tysons Corner, VA
Sunday, March 31, 2019
DISCLOSURE: I received free services in exchange for a review. No further compensation was provided.
I change my hair often. I tend to get bored with my hair and try to do different things with it. I usually visit the hair salon every 4-6 weeks. My last hair appointment was at the beginning of February and I was ready for a change. My roots were starting to show and the greys were starting to pop up again.
With my job, it's hard to find the time to go to the salon. My current work schedule does not match up very well with my regular stylist. I was overdue for a touch up on my color and already had to cancel my scheduled appointment with her. As fortune would have it, the week after I was scheduled to get my hair done, I was invited to visit The Bloom Salon in Tysons Corner, VA.

Review: Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno - Disney's BoardWalk
Sunday, January 13, 2019
We usually like to try a new dining experience every time we visit Walt Disney World. On our last family trip to Disney World, we had the chance to try the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at the Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk.
This is a Character Dining experience and is only available for breakfast. You can meet Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric. The characters will sign autographs and pose for photographs. There is no Photopass photographer, so make sure to have your camera or phones ready.
Happy New Year!
Wednesday, January 2, 2019
Wow! It's 2019 already! I don't know about you, but I am glad 2018 is over. It was such a challenging year. And while it had its ups and downs, I am ready for a fresh start.
The year started out pretty rough. I spent the first month just feeling sad and not sure what I wanted to do. I spent a good bit of it just crying and being mad at myself for being so sad. I took some time off work and went on a quick trip with my sister up to New York City. It was a lot of fun and a much needed break.
February, I decided I needed a change. I was tired of working every single weekend and feeling left out at home. I just felt so disconnected with my family and I started looking for a new job. I had a few job opportunities that opened up, but none that really worked for me.
