Philosophy Ultimate Miracle Worker Review

As much as I don't want to admit it, I am on the slippery slope to the big 4-0. I just celebrated my 37th birthday a couple weeks ago. In the past year, I've definitely noticed changes in my skin. It's not as bright as it used to be. I feel like my pores are a lot more visible and my skin just doesn't seem as full as it was just a few years ago!

I've started using all sorts of different cleansers and toners and creams and serums to try and slow down that aging process. This past week, I've had the chance to try a few products from Philosophy's Ultimate Miracle Worker line:
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Multi-Rejuvenating Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Multi-Rejuvenating Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15
  • Ultimate Miracle Worker Night Multi-Rejuvenating Nighttime Serum-In-Cream

Ultimate Miracle Worker Multi-Rejuvenating Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30

This moisturizer targets lines, wrinkles, firmness, density, pores and radiance. It helps to soften and hydrate skin, improve skin density and radiance, reduce the look of wrinkles, firms the skin and reduce the size of pores. It also offers full spectrum protection against the sun's harmful rays.

The moisturizer isn't too light or heavy and absorbs well into the skin. It has a nice, light fragrance. I used just a little more than what I have on my finger in the picture above and applied it to my face and neck after washing my ace and using toner.

I've used the moisturizer for over a week now. While, it does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated, I haven't really noticed any other changes in  my skin. My pores look the same. Maybe with continued use, I'll see more of a change. But so far, I don't see a big difference between this and other moisturizers I've used. I do appreciate the high SPF. Other moisturizers I've used only have 15 or 20.

Ultimate Miracle Worker Eye Multi-Rejuvenating Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15

This eye cream offers advanced, comprehensive protection and defense against all signs of aging. It targets lines, wrinkles, dark circles, firmness and puffiness. It also offers full spectrum protection against harmful sun rays.

The skin around my eyes is my biggest concern when it comes to my face. Over the past couple years, I've developed eye bags and puffiness under my eyes -- especially, under my left eye, which is a little larger than the right. I've tried numerous eye creams and serums and have not really seen any improvement at all.

After a week's use of Philosophy's Ultimate Miracle Worker Eye, I actually think I'm seeing some reduction in the puffiness. The skin also doesn't seem as dark as it used to be. I actually feel like I'm looking a tad bit more rested, even though, I'm probably still not getting enough sleep! The eye cream is light and absorbs quickly. It also has a nice, light scent. I apply a small amount under and around my eyes.

I'm hoping with continued use, I'll see more changes in the skin around my eyes.

Ultimate Miracle Worker Night Multi-Rejuvenating Nighttime Serum-In-Cream

This night cream combines the concentrated power of a serum with the nourishing benefit of a cream. It helps to dramatically reduce the signs of present and past skin-aging, while you sleep. It targets lines, wrinkles, firmness, texture, pores and radiance.

I have to admit, I haven't used this every night. There have been some nights where I was just too tired. I didn't even have time to wash my face, let alone put on night cream. But, on the nights that I did use it, I found that it left my skin feeling hydrated and somewhat dewy. After putting it on, I did feel some tightness in my skin, but not uncomfortably tight. The next morning, though, I didn't really see too much of a difference in my skin. Granted, I also haven't been using it every night, so that may be why.

The night cream has the same light scent as the other products in the Ultimate Miracle Worker line. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. I'll need to use it more to see if it does help out with my pores and skin texture.

Overall, I liked the products in the Ultimate Miracle Worker line. I can't say I saw any big miraculous changes in my skin, but I also have only been using them for only a week. In the clinical studies cited by Philosophy, the products were used for 8 weeks.
