It's hard to believe, but there's only a week until Christmas! Are you ready? I'm still not done with my Christmas shopping. There are still a few people on my list who I'm still shopping for. Luckily, our November Parragon Book Buddies Box came and it was filled with some great gift ideas! Maybe it could help you out if you're still shopping.

As always, my kids were really excited to see what we received from Parragon Books this month. There's usually something that they like in it. Especially, my seven-year-old son. He loves to read and loves getting new books!

Each month, the Parragon Book Buddies box is centered around a certain theme. This month's theme was holiday gifts for the whole family. Our box definitely included items that would appeal to both kids and adults.

Friendly Little Snowman

First up, was a cute little finger puppet book called "Friendly Little Snowman." My four-year-old daughter really liked it. She liked sticking her finger in the book and making the snowman move around as we read the book together.

The story itself was short and sweet -- perfect for younger children with short attention spans. This would make a great gift for babies and toddlers. Even preschoolers will enjoy playing with the snowman puppet.

Hello Christmas

This was another nice board book for younger children. It's a peek-a-boo playbook all about Christmas and the winter friends who are waiting for Santa to come. Each page has a different friend who plays peek-a-boo.

The book was really cute and would make a great Christmas present for anyone with a new baby or a toddler. It would make for a cute bedtime story.

Holly Jolly Holiday

This was a cute little tin filled with fun holiday activities. There are three books, markers, stickers, and a fun poster.

The double-sided poster has one side with a fun Countdown to Christmas with ornament stickers to decorate the tree, plus additional Christmas stickers to play with. The other side features a "Santa, Stop Here Please" sign. We hung it on our front door to make sure Santa stops by on Christmas Eve.

The Holly Jolly Holiday tin includes one of my favorite Christmas stories, "The Night Before Christmas." I like to read it with the kids on Christmas Eve before they go to bed.

Marvelous Mixed Puzzles

This book includes over 300 word and number puzzles, such as word searches, mazes, Sudoku, word chains, and crossword puzzles. The book is small and compact, making it easy to take along with you. It could be good to help pass the time when waiting at the doctor's office or maybe on a road trip.

My husband really liked this book. He's very much into puzzles. He does the crossword puzzle in the paper every morning and he often gives the kids little puzzles to do.

This book would be great for any person who enjoys puzzles or wants to help sharpen their mind.

Wine Gift & Book

This one was a favorite of mine. I often have a glass of white wine with dinner. This kit included four coasters, a wine pourer and a book detailing wines from different regions and the varieties of vineyards and grapes.

I found the wine pourer to be really helpful, but thought the coasters could've been a little more sturdy. They were similar to the coasters at your local chain restaurant.

All of these books are currently available at your local bookstore or from online retailers, such as Amazon. Affiliate links below.
