With March being National Reading Month, it's only fitting that we received another Parragon Book Buddies Box last week. My kids love books and they were super excited to see that the latest box was Disney themed!

As usual, my six-year-old couldn't wait to open the package and see what was inside.

Disney The Lion King

The first book was "The Lion King." My son loves watching The Lion Guard on Disney Junior and we had actually just watched The Lion King movie a few nights ago.

The book features a lenticular cover and full color illustrations on every page. It retells the classic story with scenes from the movie. As soon as my son pulled the book out of the package, he ran to get his Simba doll, so they could read together.

Disney Beauty and the Beast Collector's Tin

The second thing in the package was the Disney Beauty and the Beast Collector's Tin.  It includes a storybook, activity book, coloring book, markers, stickers and a double-sided poster to color.

My three-year-old is very much into princesses and was actually dressed as Cinderella when we opened up the package.

She and my son enjoyed flipping through the storybook and later, coloring in the activity book and on the poster. Though, it would have been nice if the tin came with a few more colored markers.

Both books are available now for purchase at both your local bookstore and online. (Affiliate links below.)
