Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector and MoistureSmooth Color Sticks - REVIEW

DISCLOSURE: I received free samples from Crowdtap to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

As I've gotten older, I've been seeing more changes in my skin. It's a little more dull. My face doesn't seem as full and my skin's texture has gotten more rough. So, I've been using more and more skincare products to help combat those signs of aging.

But, I also don't like having to use so many things! I'm always on the look out for products that multi-task. So, I was pretty excited when I got the chance to try out Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector is a tinted moisturizer, that also contains Retinol, Broad Spectrum SPF 20 sunscreen and also provides sheer coverage. It helps to even skin tone, smooth skin's texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. It provides a dewy finish and is available in six shades:
  • Ivory to Fair
  • Fair to Light
  • Light to Neutral
  • Neutral to Tan
  • Tan to Medium
  • Medium to Deep
I was sent the Light to Neutral and Neutral to Tan to try.

Light To Neutral 30

Neutral To Tan 40
I found both of these shades work well for me. Though, I may have to get a darker shade once summer rolls around and I get some color in my skin. Here's a shot after applying the Neutral to Tan, but without any other makeup:

I really liked it! I don't usually wear too much makeup and go for a more natural look. I used the moisturizer as sort of a primer. I applied it before adding some powder foundation. It did help give my skin a smoother appearance after I applied it. It went on evenly and smoothly and absorbed well into my skin. I just wish the tube was bigger!

I was also sent a stick of Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Sticks to try. I had actually used them before and love carrying them around with me in my purse. They give a nice sheer hint of color and go on smoothly, without the need of applying lip balm first. I was sent the shade Pink Nude to try, but they are available in 16 shades. I love how you twist it, as opposed to needing to sharpen the pencil.

Pink Nude
The Pink Nude was a nice light shade. I probably would not have bought it, though. I prefer shades with a little more color.

Both the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector and MoistureSmooth Color Sticks can be purchased in store and online. The MoistureSmooth Color Sticks retail for about $8.49 and the Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector retails for $14.09.
