Scott Naturals Tube-Free Sampling #TossTheTube

DISCLOSURE:  I received free products from Crowdtap to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.

We've been trying to green our home and daily routines.  We buy natural and organic foods and products. We recycle and reuse as much as possible.  We use reusable shopping bags when we remember to bring them!

One place where we haven't really purchased too many green products is the bathroom. Aside from natural cleaning products, we haven't really purchased natural toilet paper.  We've tried some a couple times and it just didn't seem to be as nice.  It was kind of rough and not very strong. It was also pretty thin.

Each year, billions of toilet paper tubes end up in landfills. This unnecessary item — the tube — accounts for millions of pounds of waste every single year.  Scott Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper is the first brand (to my knowledge) to come out with toilet paper without a tube.

I recently had the chance to try Scott Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper.  I had never heard of being able to buy toilet paper without the roll! So, I wasn't really sure what to expect!

Out of the package, the roll of toilet paper held its shape pretty well without having a tube in the middle. This was rather surprising.

It fit fine in the toilet dispenser and I didn't have any problems rolling it.

The toilet paper itself was nice.    It was soft and thick, unlike other natural toilet papers I've tried.  I liked that it has ridges.

The rolls are pretty big, too.   We've been using Scott Naturals Tube-Free for almost a week and we're still on the first roll.

Scott has launched their #TossTheTube campaign.   Pledge to toss the tube and get a coupon towards your purchase of Scott Naturals Tube-Free toilet paper!

Would you recommend it?
Yes, I would.  So far, I've had no problems using the Scott Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper.  It's a great way to reduce waste and I think other toilet paper brands should follow suit.

How much does it cost?
A 4 mega roll pack retails for about $3.69.

Where can I buy it?
It's available in all major drug stores, mass merchandisers, grocery stores and online retailers.  You can also use their Store Locator.
