L'Oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lipstick Review

DISCLOSURE:  I received free product from StyleWatch Style Hunters to facilitate this review.  My opinions are my own.

I'm always on the search for the perfect lipstick.  Often, it's hard to find the right shade and the right formula for my lips.  Some are too drying and with others, the color's gone before I even head out the door!  It's hard to find that right balance of color and moisture.

I recently had the opportunity to try L'Oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lipstick.  It's made to be rich like a lipstick, shiny like a gloss and smooth like a balm.  It's formulated with precious micro-oils and rich color pigments to provide the ideal balance of color and care for perfect lips.  It's available in 16 shades.

I was sent the shade Blushing Harmony, which is a nice, pretty, neutral shade.  The lipstick comes in a 0.18 fl oz tube and is applied with a wand.

Application was very smooth.  The lipstick isn't too sticky and is very creamy and rich.  The color goes on pretty evenly.  Though, as you can see in my picture below, the color was very close to my natural lip color.

With some lipsticks that I've used in the past, I've had to use regular lip balm prior to application to make sure the color goes on smoothly.  That wasn't the case with the L'Oreal Extraordinaire.  My lips felt very moisturized.  Since the color was almost the same as my natural color, it was hard to gauge how long the color lasted.  I'll have to update this post once I try a different shade.

Would you recommend it?
Yes!  There's a nice range of colors.  The lipstick glides on smoothly with the wand and doesn't dry my lips out.  I'll have to try a brighter shade to comment on how long it lasts, since the shade I received was essentially the same as my natural lip color.

How much does it cost?  One tube retails for about $9.99.

Where can I buy it?    Available at all major drug stores, mass merchandisers, grocery stores and online retailers.
