Parragon September Book Buddies Box - REVIEW

Thursday, September 15, 2016

DISCLOSURE: I received free books to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

The kids are all in school. Even my youngest! I finally have the house to myself in the morning -- at least until it's time to pick up my preschooler from school. Before the school year started, I asked the kids what they were excited about for the new school year. The older two weren't really ready to go back, but my younger two were excited about making new friends and learning new things!

The theme for the September Book Buddies Box from Parragon is Learning! They sent a great box of some fun books and kits that the whole family enjoyed! Even my husband and 12-year-old found something in the box that they liked.

As always, the kids were super excited to receive another box of fun books.

The first thing we tried out in the box was the Craft Factory Dinosaur Adventure Stencil Book. The kids loved this one! My 5-year-old son loves dinosaurs and loved that he could draw them himself with this book. My 3-year-old daughter also thought it was fun to draw dinosaurs. When I wasn't taking pictures, I saw my 12-year-old also try the book out. She loves to draw, in general, so this was a cool book for her, too.

Next, we took a look at Professor Murphy's Emporium of Entertainment Brain-Busting Puzzles & Riddles. My younger kids didn't really care for this book, but my older kids and my husband liked it. They quizzed each other and even I was stumped on some of the puzzles in the book.

Lastly, we checked out the Factivity 4-in-1 Space Activity Pack. My son enjoys these packs. They usually come with a fun activity book, a two-sided puzzle to color, a two-sided poster to color and colored pencils.

The puzzle was a little difficult, since when we sat down to actually put it together, I had already thrown out the box and so, we didn't know how the puzzle was supposed to look! But, we did it!

This month's box was definitely a lot of fun. I loved how there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. We're planning on saving the Riddle Book for our next road trip. It would be a fun way to pass the time!
