I always have a hard time finding the right shade of blush. Either the blush I buy is too light and doesn't show up or it's too bright and looks clownish!
Recently, I had the chance to try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends Sheer Highlighting Blush. They are designed to give sheer, illuminating color and to help enhance skin's natural, healthy appearance. It's enriched with Vitamin C and botanical conditioners. Its powder technology incorporates advanced gel systems for easy application and soft feel.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends is available in three shades:
- Clean - Translucent powder designed to control oil and shine
- Pure - Blush designed to provide illuminating healthy color
- Sunkissed - Bronzer designed to give a natural bronzing radiance
I chose Pure to try. I have plenty of bronzers and didn't really want to try a clear powder.
The blush has four shades on the palette that you're supposed to blend together.
The colors were pretty light. When blended together, they were a nice pink shade.
The blush went on and blended well. With my tan skin, though, it wasn't very bright. It gave me just a hint of color. I was actually hoping for a little more.
It does give me a nice glow. I'd use this blush when I'm going for a more natural, casual look.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends is available for purchase in stores and online. It retails for $11.49 for a 0.30-oz palette.
