Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Review #TrulyRadiant

DISCLOSURE: I received free products from Smiley360 to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I had my six-month check up last month at the dentist. No cavities, but they told me I needed to floss and use a mouthwash more often. So, I've been trying to be better about my oral health routine.  In addition to brushing at least twice a day, I've been trying my best to floss regularly and to use a mouth rinse at least once a day.

Luckily, I had the chance to try products from the Truly Radiant line from Arm & Hammer. I was sent a tube of the Truly Radiant Rejuvenating Toothpaste, a Spinbrush Truly Radiant Deep Clean Manual Toothbrush and a bottle of the Truly Radiant Whitening & Strengthening Fluoride Rinse. I had never tried any of these before and I was curious to see how it compared to the products I was currently using (Colgate Optic White, an Oral B toothbrush and Listerine Naturals mouthwash).

Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Rejuvenating Toothpaste whitens, strengthens and repairs tooth enamel.  It combines pure Arm & Hammer baking soda, active calcium, fluoride and peroxide.  It's clinically proven to whiten teeth in just 5 days and removes stains better than the leading whitening toothpaste.

The toothpaste features a twist of whitening and mint flavored toothpaste. It really does leave my mouth feeling refreshed and clean!

I do have a problem, though, with some whitening toothpastes. Some of them irritate my gums and make them hurt. I don't know what it is in them that bothers me. The first few days that I used the Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Rejuvenating Toothpaste, I did get some gum irritation. Plus, this film developed at my gum line after brushing. I'm not sure what it was, but that stopped after a few days of use.

The Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant Deep Clean Manual Toothbrush features a rotating head. The bristles rotate as your brush to help remove plaque. The toothbrush also features elongated bristles to help clean hard-to-reach areas. It's available in soft and medium firmness.

I received the soft one to try. The bristles did feel soft to the touch, but not very soft when I brushed my teeth, which was kind of weird. It was hard to tell if the bristles at the top of the toothbrush actually did rotate or not. They rotate when I push them, so I'm assuming they also rotate when I'm moving the toothbrush back and forth.

My teeth did feel clean after brushing, but not sure if that's because of the toothbrush or if it's more the toothpaste.

Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Whitening & Strengthening Fluoride Rinse whitens teeth, strengthens enamel and prevents stains without alcohol or peroxide. It helps to whiten teeth in just 5 days and provides long-lasting freshness.

I loved the fact that this mouthwash doesn't burn. Because this contains fluoride, you rinse for a minute and then can't eat or drink for 30 minutes after. This wasn't a problem, though. My favorite part about this rinse is the fact that there's a mark in the cap for 10 mL. With other rinses, I just kind of guesstimate how much I need to rinse with. It would be nice though, if this rinse was like the ones kids use where you squeeze the bottle and the right amount comes out. Because you pour the Truly Radiant rinse into the cap, when you replace the cap, some rinse goes down the side of the bottle.

Other than that, I like the rinse. It leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean.

So, how did the Truly Radiant work? Did I see whiter teeth in 5 days?

Maybe? I think my teeth are slightly whiter or at least brighter. But, I didn't really see a big difference at all.

Have you tried any of the Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant products? Did you see whiter teeth in 5 days?
