I love my Keurig. I use it everyday. Sometimes more than once a day. I'll have a cup of coffee (or two) in the morning with breakfast and then sometimes later in the evening with my dessert. But what about those times when you don't want something hot, but something nice and cold and refreshing? Enter Brew Over Ice K Cups! They're specially blended to brew directly over ice and give you a delicious cup of iced coffee, iced tea and their new iced fruit brews!
They come in a large variety of choices:
GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE
- Nantucket Blend Iced Coffee
- French Vanilla Iced Coffee
- Hazelnut Iced Coffee
CELESTIAL SEASONINGS
- Southern Sweet Iced Tea
- Half & Half Iced Tea/Lemonade
- Unsweetened Black Iced Tea
- Sweet Raspberry Iced Tea
- Sweet Lemon Iced Tea
- Sweet Peach Iced Tea
THE ORIGINAL DONUT SHOP
- Sweet & Creamy Regular Iced Coffee
- Sweet & Creamy Nutty Hazelnut Iced Coffee
- Strawberry Pomegranate Iced Fruit Brew
- Acai Berry Iced Fruit Brew
Make sure you don't use a glass cup or it could break. Make sure to remove the drip tray to give your tumbler enough room. The Brew Over Ice website has a great video on how to brew the K cups:
I tried the Half & Half Iced Tea/Lemonade, the Southern Sweet Iced Tea and the Unsweetened Black Iced Tea. They were all good! I also tried some of the Green Mountain Nantucket Blend Iced Coffee. I added some half & half and Splenda and it tasted exactly like something you would get at a coffee shop! Once my samples run out, I'm definitely heading out to the store to buy some of the other varieties, specifically the flavored iced teas and the new Vitamin Burst Iced Fruit Brews! They sound like they would be so yummy and they're packed with Vitamin C!
Would you recommend it?
Yes. They're so easy to brew and it's a great way to get a nice iced coffee or iced tea in the comfort of your own home.
How much does it cost?
A 22-count box of iced coffee retails for about $16.49. A 22-count box of iced tea or iced fruit brew is about $17.49.
Where can I buy it?
You can find it at all major drug stores, mass merchandisers, grocery stores, online retailers and Keurig.com and GreenMountainCoffee.com.
