Parragon October Book Buddies Box - REVIEW

Wednesday, October 19, 2016

DISCLOSURE: As a member of the Book Buddies program, I received free books from Parragon Books to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Halloween is only 12 short days away! On the days leading up to Halloween, I like to make Halloween-themed treats and do fun activities with the kids. We recently visited a local farm to do a corn maze and pick up pumpkins! Earlier this month, we received our October Book Buddies Box from Parragon and it went perfectly with the Halloween theme!

All the books this month were coloring books. It was nice that they each came with crayons and a place to keep them with the book. As always, my kids were super excited to open the Book Buddies Box!
Always so excited to open their Book Buddy Box!
My youngest daughter was drawn to the Disney Princess: Princesses and Pumpkins coloring book. She loves princesses and plans to meet all of them when we go to Disney World next month!

The book includes coloring and activity pages, as well as a sheet of over 30 stickers. I liked how the crayons are big and easy for little ones to hold. I only wish there were more colors included.

My 6-year-old son liked the Disney Pixar Halloween Heroes coloring book. It included several of his favorite characters, like those from the movies Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. Plus, he likes super heroes and so the title of the book appealed to him, too.

My oldest daughter liked the last book we received in our Book Buddies Box. She liked the concept of the Spooky Black Paper Coloring book. All of the pages are black and the pictures are outlined in white. It comes with 5 bright crayons and 50 stickers.

It would have been nice if all three coloring books came with more crayons. But the crayon keeper is nice.

It's fun to have coloring books for rainy days or on days when the kids come to me, complaining about being bored and having nothing to do. Plus, I don't have to hunt down crayons either. The books come with them!
