DISCLOSURE: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.

Erno Laszlo Double Cleanse duos uses "The Power of Two" to customize your cleansing routine to meet your skin's unique needs. It combines a cleansing oil and a cleansing bar. The cleansing oil breaks up dirt and makeup, while the cleansing bar nourishes skin with antioxidants and botanicals.

I normally wash my face with either a foaming facial cleanser or micellar water. I have used cleansing oil in the past, but I never felt like it did a good job at completely cleaning my face. I liked the idea of using both a cleansing oil and a soap to wash my face.

The cleansing oils and cleansing bars are available in five different varieties to address different skin concerns. You can mix and match to suit whatever your skin needs.
  • Exfoliate & Detox - Detoxifying Cleansing Oil & Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar
  • Firm & Lift - Firmarine Cleansing Oil & Firmarine Cleansing Bar
  • Hydrate & Nourish - Hydra-Therapy Cleansing Oil & Phelityl Cleansing Bar
  • Purify & Control - Anti-Blemish Beta Wash & Oil Control Cleansing Bar
  • Soothe & Calm - Sensitive Cleansing Oil & Sensitive Cleansing Bar
I was sent the Sensitive Cleansing Oil and Bar to try.

The Sensitive Cleansing Oil and Sensitive Cleansing Bar helps soothe sensitive skin that has a red undertone, tightness and irritation.

Sensitive Cleansing Oil

The Sensitive Cleansing Oil contains anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil, to reduce and treat inflammation. Green tea oil helps to nourish, moisturize and protect against irritation. The cleansing oil dissolves dirt and makeup without leaving skin tight or dry.

Giving my husband the death stare while I put the oil on.
The cleansing oil is applied to dry skin. It was a little messy and I wasn't really sure how much to use. The full size bottle includes a pump and directions indicate to use two pumps of the oil.

The oil itself had a nice scent and it didn't feel too greasy going on. Though, the bottle got kind of oily from handling it after putting the oil on my face. It would have been nice if maybe the cap was a flip top instead.

Sensitive Cleansing Bar

The Sensitive Cleansing Bar is a mild cleanser that gently removes makeup and skin impurities and soothes the skin with ingredients like honey, chamomile and green tea extract. These ingredients help moisturize, defend against free radicals and offer antibacterial support.

After applying the cleansing oil, you're supposed to wet the cleansing bar and massage the bar over the face. This felt kind of awkward, but it's supposed to stimulate circulation. After massaging, you use your fingers to create a lather and then rinse with warm water.

After rinsing, my skin definitely felt clean and I was surprised by how soft and smooth it felt. It didn't feel tight or dry at all. I didn't feel the need to immediately put on moisturizer, like how I sometimes feel after using my regular foaming cleanser. Overall, I was pleased with the results. I may explore the other varieties available. The Purify & Control options sound like something that could help with all the crazy pimples I've been getting lately!

The Erno Laszlo Travel Sets retail for $28.00 and can be purchased at beauty stores and online at the Erno Laszlo website, as well as Sephora.
