DISCLOSURE: I had received a free sample of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner several months ago and tried it out. I liked it then but only recently bought a full sized bottle of the shampoo. All opinions are my own.
My hair always causes me problems. It's thick and has a tendency to get dry at the ends and oily at the roots. It has a slight wave. Not enough of a wave for it to be pretty, but just enough of a wave so that I can't call it straight. Every morning I'm fighting with it and praying that it will act nice for me. It probably takes me at least an hour to an hour and a half every morning to get it the way I like it. Or at least good enough that I can go out in public!
I find I often have to switch products every few weeks. Products tend to build up in my hair frequently. So a product that may have been working great for several weeks all of a sudden will not do what it's supposed to and my hair starts feeling weighed down and just really oily. I'll then try and switch to a clarifying shampoo to try and get all the build up out.
Just last week, the same thing started happening. I tried my usual clarifying shampoo from Herbal Essences. No help. My hair still felt gross. So I remembered the free sample of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo that I had tried. I had a $1 Target coupon on any Garnier Shampoo or Conditioner to use, so I went out and bought some. (Too bad I didn't have a manufacturer's coupon to stack!)
Immediately, after using the shampoo, my hair felt much cleaner and lighter. No more oily roots. My hair had volume again and moved! It was great. The shampoo itself is very light. It lathers well and a little goes a long way. It smells nice and the fragrance stays with you all day! But it's not overpowering.
While I can't say how my hair will act in a couple weeks, right now this is my favorite shampoo. I love that it's 94% biodegradable and infused with antioxidants to help make your hair healthier, stronger and shinier!
Would you recommend it?
Yes! I am loving this shampoo right now! It's lightweight, lathers well, smells great, and rinses clean. It gets rid of build up in my hair and adds volume and keeps my hair from being flat. No more oily roots!
How much does it cost? A 13 fl. oz bottle will cost you about $3.00.
Where can I buy it? Available at all major drug stores, mass merchandisers, grocery stores and online retailers.
