REVIEW

My youngest is 8 and so a little old for Gabby's Dollhouse, but when she found out we were selected to review the dollhouse, she was excited. She had only seen one episode before we received the toy. So, after we got the toy, we sat down together and watched a few episodes on Netflix. She thought the show had too much singing in it.

The dollhouse itself looks just like the one on the show, so I think kids would really enjoy that. Assembly wasn't too hard. My daughter and her older sister put it together themselves. The only difficulties they had were sliding the cardboard inserts in for the background of each of the rooms and installing the batteries. It was pretty hard to unscrew the cover off to put the batteries in. We had to get Dad to help with that.

It includes a Gabby figure and Pandy Paws but we wish it came with more of the cat friends. She has been asking everyday since we got it if we could go to the store and buy the other rooms for the dollhouse.

The Cat-A-Vator does tend to get stuck and it can be quite difficult to move from floor to floor. Not a dealbreaker but it could be frustrating for little ones.

I'll also caution that kids will put other things into the tower where the deliveries go and they may get stuck. My daughter put Gabby and Pandy in there. But, she was able to get them out.

Overall, the dollhouse is a hit in our household. I would definitely recommend it for any Gabby's Dollhouse fan.

The Gabby's Purrfect Dollhouse retails for $79.99.
