DISCLOSURE: I received free samples from Moms Meet to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
I have two kids with food allergies. Sometimes, it's hard to keep their school lunches from becoming boring and monotonous when their allergies dictate what foods I can buy. One child has a peanut allergy and the other has a dairy sensitivity and tree nut allergy.
Recently, I had the chance to try out MadeGood Granola Minis, thanks to Moms Meet. MadeGood makes great tasting healthy snacks that are allergen friendly, minimally processed and organic.
MadeGood Granola Minis are chewy, bite-size granola snacks made with gluten-free whole grain oats. They are USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, kosher and vegan. The snacks are school-safe and manufactured in a dedicated facility free from the following 8 common allergens:
- Peanut
- Tree Nuts
- Wheat
- Soy
- Dairy
- Egg
- Sesame
- Fish & Shellfish
- Chocolate Chip
- Apple Cinnamon
- Strawberry
- Chocolate Banana
My oldest daughter, who has the peanut allergy, was excited to try them. She grabbed the Strawberry flavor first and it instantly became her favorite of the four flavors.
My Mom and Aunt, both were interested in trying them out. They had never heard of the MadeGood brand.
Even though she's pictured here with the Apple Cinnamon flavor, my youngest preferred the Chocolate Chip flavor.
I loved the convenient little packs. It makes it easier to pack their lunches. In addition to the Granola Minis, we also had a chance to try the MadeGood Chocolate Chip Granola Bars. Everyone really liked them and we're on a hunt to find them at our local grocery store. Moms Meet indicated that MadeGood can be purchased at Wegman's and Whole Foods, but we aren't very close to either store.
My youngest requests a MadeGood Chocolate Chip Granola Bar as her snack for preschool pretty much everyday. We need to restock soon!
