My family has had its share of mishaps with electronic devices. Last summer, my one son dropped his tablet in the driveway and cracked the screen. It worked for a few months after that, but then the screen got too messed up to be able to use the tablet. And just today, my other son dropped his tablet and cracked the screen! If only I had put a good screen protector on their tablets, then maybe we could have saved some money (and tears!)
Recently, I had the chance to try the intelliGLASS Hardened Glass Screen Protector from intelliARMOR. IntellGLASS screen protectors are made from hardened glass, which offers better than steel scratch protection. It's combined with an oil and smudge resistant outer layer and an advanced silicone base layer that sticks to your phone and tablet without bubbles and doesn't leave behind any sticky residue.
IntelliGLASS Screen Protectors are ultra clear, retaining 99.9% touchscreen clarity and accuracy. They are thin and help to prevent scratches, absorb shocks and repels oil and grease. They're easy to install and are available for many devices, including iPhones, iPads, Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets.
I own an iPhone 5. I've been using a plastic case and a screen protector that I had bought from TJMaxx to protect it. The screen protector that I was using before had a lot of bubbles under it and it was pretty dirty and gross. I also felt that things weren't very clear when I put my old screen protector on.
The intelliGLASS kit for my iPhone included:
- The intelliGLASS screen protector
- An alcohol wipe
- Microfiber cloth
- Dust removal sticker
- Squeegee card
- Home button stickers
Installation was pretty easy. First, I removed the case and my old screen protector. I was surprised to see how my old screen protector left a sticky residue on my phone. It looked kind of gross! I used the included alcohol pad to wipe down my phone and to help scrape off the old residue.
Next, I used the microfiber cloth to dry off the phone and clean it a little more. I also used the dust removal sticker to get rid of any remaining dust or dirt.
Once my phone was clean, I placed the intelliGLASS screen protector on my phone. It was easy to put on and for the first time ever, I was actually able to put a screen protector on with no bubbles! I was impressed!
Things on my phone also look a lot clearer than they did with my old screen protector. Unlike my husband's Otterbox, I didn't have any problems with the touchscreen functionality. I didn't have to press any harder on my phone, like I do when I use my husband's iPhone 6.

I could so use this, I can be so clumsy and I nearly faint when I drop my phone or tablet. I wish they made it for the kindle fire :)
