Snuggle Fresh Spring Flowers Fabric Softener Review

DISCLOSURE: As a member of the Snuggle Bear Den Community, I received a free sample of Snuggle to try and review. All opinions are my own.

We do a lot of laundry in our house. The house usually smells pretty nice whenever we do laundry because I like to buy laundry detergent and fabric softeners with a lot of scent.

We normally don't use liquid fabric softener, just fabric softener sheets. I find the fabric softener sheets alone do a pretty good job at softening my clothes and reducing wrinkles and static.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try a new laundry product from Snuggle. I was sent a box of Snuggle Fabric Softener Sheets in the Fresh Spring Flowers scent.

Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Ladybug Cookies

I recently held a birthday party for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Since she really isn't into any cartoon characters or TV shows, we did a ladybug theme. It was really cute and I'll put a post up soon about it.

In addition to ladybug-themed cupcakes and a cake, I wanted to make ladybug cookies. But, I didn't want to spend the time making sugar cookies and royal icing and decorating the cookies. I just didn't have the time for that. So, I thought maybe a red velvet chocolate chip cookie could work. It would have the red and the chocolate chips could work as the ladybug's spots.

Go Veggie! Lactose-Free Slices Review #GoVeggieCheese

DISCLOSURE: I received free samples of Go Veggie! Lactose-Free Slices from Moms Meet to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

I love cheese! I especially love gooey melty cheese in pasta and on pizza! But, when I eat too much cheese, it doesn't sit well with my stomach. I get gassy and it's just not pretty.

I recently had the chance to sample Go Veggie! Lactose Free Slices with my friends and family. I've never tried anything other than real dairy cheese, so I was intrigued.

Taking Care of My Skin With Aveeno #AveenoAdvocates

DISCLOSURE: I received free products from Crowdtap to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I have pretty dry and sensitive skin. In the winter, it gets so bad that my skin gets irritated and inflamed if I don't keep it moisturized. So, I'm always on the look out for products that will help me take care of my skin.

As a member of Crowdtap, I had the chance to try two products from Aveeno Skincare:
  • Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Lotion
  • Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Glad OdorShield with Gain Kitchen Trash Bags Review

DISCLOSURE: I received free products from BzzAgent to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I have a family of six. Two adults + four kids = a lot of trash. We probably take the trash out at least five times a week. We go through a lot of trash bags. We've tried numerous brands, but often stick with store brands because they're less expensive and work just as well.

I recently had the opportunity to try Glad OdorShield with Gain.  I've used regular Glad OdorShield with Febreze and haven't had any issues with them before, so I assumed the OdorShield with Gain would work just as well and probably even smelled better!

Leaving the baby stage

The other day, I was doing dishes and my youngest came into the kitchen. She asked me to carry her. So, I stopped loading the dishwasher and picked her up. As I held her, it dawned on me that my little baby was going to be turning 2 in just a few weeks! Where had the time gone? It didn't seem that long ago that I could hold her in just one arm. Soon, she'll be too big and heavy to carry around in both arms. In time, she won't even ask me to pick her up anymore.
